SIMON HALE
Orchestrator / Arranger / musical supervisor
After graduating from Goldsmiths college, University of London with an honours degree in music, Simon’s solo album, East Fifteen, led to recordings with many artists, including George Benson, Simply Red, Jamiroquai, Björk, Mary J Blige, Alicia Keys and Sam Smith. In 1996 he orchestrated Duncan Sheik’s first album, and their musical collaboration has continued ever since. Simon’s involvement with Spring Awakening marked his Broadway debut.

LIVE PERFORMANCE CREDITS
Simon pioneered the on-stage composing technique with John Metcalfe in their collaboration with The Bays. All the music is composed live on stage and fed to the musicians via a series of LCD screens as part of the improvised performance.
